So PChat 2.0.0 is nearing it’s 2.0 beta phase, there’s been a lot of changes since it’s initial port to gtk3, ranging from removal to the xtext gtk widget, to using gtktextview in it’s place, there was a lot of rework on that unfortunetly and caused some issues with some of the settings that I’m still working on fixing.
Some setting will most likely need to be removed like the transparency and the the background image. Though that is yet to be seen if I’ll be doing that or not.
But I can say for one thing, PChat has come a long way from initially being an XChat for for PortableApps.com to backporting select features from hexchat, to basically rebasing entirely off of hexchat after development ceased on that.
